Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has announced statistical data that show expansion of Abu Dhabi's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first half of 2022, reaching 11.2 percent compared to the same period last year. The growth reflects the Emirate's robust performance and the ability of the economy to maintain competitiveness and sustain growth despite global economic challenges.

This week, a high-level delegation from the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) in the United Arab Emirates is visiting Estonia and Statistics Estonia. The purpose of the visit is to further strengthen the collaboration in the field of statistics to develop and improve activities related to data-based policy making intended to fulfill the national strategic goals. 

Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has signed a partnership agreement with the US-based Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP), under which the Statistical Training Institute of SCAD would provide certification programs for professionals in Abu Dhabi government entities.

The Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) has signed an agreement with Majid Al Futtaim to enhance business-to-government data collaboration, with the aim of bringing together data from various sources to unlock combined insights to create new products, services, experiences, and outcomes, with the vision of advancing the social and economic aspirations of Abu Dhabi.
